Anneliese trained under the Royal Academy of Dance system, and graduated with Honors. She grew up performing classical repertoire in festivals and international competitions. She has worked with Chet Walker, Nathan Trice, Mark Dendy, Ginger Cox, and as a member of The Repertory Ensemble at Steps on Broadway in New York City. Favorite theater credits include: Velma Kelly in Chicago, Lulu in Cabaret, Cats, and West Side Story. In 2007, she took a break from performing and teaching to attend Columbia University and explore the behind the scenes as an arts administrator. In 2011 Daily Psongs, an evening of dance, live music and film entirely conceived, directed and choreographed by Ms. Kappey premiered in NYC to standing ovations and sold out houses. Anneliese is currently choreographing, teaching, judging, exploring, writing, and expanding her already vast knowledge of multiple dance styles.
